RFID Board & Mifare Ultralite

Post by beambase »

Does the E-block RFID board and the RFID macros in Flowcode also support reading from Mifare Ultralite tags? Has anyone tested this?

Hello

Yes the ultralight tags are fully supported by the RFID module used on the RFID E-Block.

Yes.... but the code for the RFID Component needs to be modifyed in some way? Any idea what needs to be changed? When I try to read an Ultralite tag, the RFID board does not react or send anything out. The statuscode is still 128, same as for no read at all.
Any ideas what to do / change?

Hello

Have you checked that the RFID component properties is setting up the board correctly for the Ultralight module. It may also be worth your while looking at the RFID module datasheet from RFsolutions and comparing with the C code used in the component to ensure that the mode is being correctly addressed. From what I saw when I looked into it the existing code should work ok. If the board itself is not reacting then it suggests that the module is configured in the incorrect mode.
