Proto-typing wire

Post by JohnCrow »

Hi
In a article published in Elektor (May 2006) by John Dobson, he uses this wire he refers to as " wiring pencil wire ", for prototyping.
It can be used in a way that the insulation in melted by a soldering iron.(Possibly similar to that used on the back of the ECIO application board.

Can you tell me where I can obtain it it, as it will be ideal for a small project I have in mind. Not been able to see any in Rapid or Maplins catalogues.
Thanks
