ModBus RTU

Post by Steve001 »

I am currently looking to use a RS485 comms interface on one of my projects using the MODBUS RTU Protocol.

Has ony one dabbled with this and had success ? as there is a wealth of infomation out there and i am a bit confused now and looking for some advice. The master side of things is ok as we have the software and interfaces at work for this.

i have attached some files that i got pointed to via a suppiler at work . and a flowcode one that i found .

Any advice to help me on my way would be greatly received

Modbus RTU Slave project based on Microchip PIC 16F87X processor and 24LC128 CMOS Serial EEPROM with I2C interface.
PIC Modbus RTU slave supports write and read (3 and 16) functions. The data is stored and read from EEPROM via the I2C bus. You can write/read up to 8000 registers.
In a single frame can be read/write 32 registers .
Success always occurs in private and failure in full view.
