DS1820 Continued Issues Bullet Proof Version??

After reviewing all the posts related to this topic it still seems that many folks are still having difficulty making the PIC work with the DS1820 in flowcode. I reviewed your PIC16F877A code you had posted sometime back using Eric's code as the base. I used a new 877A and 2 DS18B20 IC's. The sensor count value was correctly set to 2 and the data line on the DS1820 IC's were pulled high by a 4.7K resistor per the data sheet - DS data going into port RA0 on the 877A per the example. After checking and rechecking everything I continue to get error #3 Wrong Sensor Count.

It would be great to get a bullet proof project for the DS1820 out there for the large number of people who seem to have interest in it.

Hello George,

This is a bit of a problem for me at the moment. There seems to be at least 5 devices from Dallas I have personally come across which all show the "DS1820" part number but actually work in different ways. Have you had any joy with any of the one wire sensor examples that have already been posted on the forums?
