E-Block Suggestion

Post by JohnCrow »

The EB017 patch board is very useful, but sometimes it is too big for the project.

I would suggest a patch board of a similar size to a standard E-Block.
This could have

A single D-Plug at one end
The Power connection at the other end.
The 5V and ground tracks running along the top and bottom of the board
A prototype area in between the power tracks.

I would suggest the overall width be kept as such to allow two boards side by side, i.e. connected to ports C & D.
I'm sure this would be utilised for smalller projects where the current EB -017 is somewhat too big.
I don't imagine it would be that expensive to produce and if it could be kept on a par with the cost of the current board, I'm sure they would be popular.
1 in 10 people understand binary, the other one doesn't !
