Re: Flowcode v5 Features - videos
Dear David,
Matrix did a big job with all the improvements and extensions from Flowcode 4 to Flowcode 5. The video’s show a lot of the new possibilities, especially for persons who already have knowledge of Flowcode 4 or earlier versions.
A comment is:
I think for people new in the field, these video’s needs some additional audio explanations.
All people of Matrix working on Flowcode, just go on this way of renewals!
Thanks a lot!!!!

Re: Flowcode v5 Features - videos
David,
The videos are great. A few points:
A significant benefit is to help understand the thought process behind the features.
Once you know how they are intended to be used the they become much more useful.
A verbal commentary would therefore also help, not least because the video resolution
makes it hard to pick up some choices being made.
I would appreciate a 'pulling it all together' vedeo. A demonstration program being
constructed that shows off the features and how they interact along with the
though procesess behind the choices. Good programming practice is probably second
nature to folk at MMM but is worth spelling out to people like me.
Examples -
How best to use macros
How best to use Constants
Best use of mixed variable types - byte/integer/long and how to avoid pitfalls of
combinations.
Mixed interrupts - avoiding conflicts.
Anyway I feel Flowcode is now a much stronger product, I am no longer constantly trying to find ways
round limitations but rather trying to make use of what is available.
Best Regards,
Mark
