IR flowchart example
Hello everybody.
Please example flowchart for IR remote control/RC5 (TX and RX) 4 commands. I want to understand how to create in flowchart a coded signal then transmitted, and the receiver to code and decode the signal and to operate a relay, also using more than one command.
Thank you in advance!

Re: IR flowchart example
Hi donald,
I have a Flowchart that when you press on your remote key 1 then 1st bit = bit 0 (Port C0) will activate.
Key 2 = bit 1 (Port C1 )
Key 3 = bit 2
Key 4 = bit 3
and so on
Key 0 = clear all bits.
These can be very easily changed.
I believe you must have Flowcode professional to work, so if you have free version of Flowcode you will not be able to get it to work
So not worth posting it for you to try.
If your interested in upgrading to the professional version, then you could look here:

Re: IR flowchart example
Hello to all!
Donald, If this can help you there is a project of a IR mini remote control handset in which also included a tutorial about RC5 transmission protocol:

I also agree with Dazz and Martin, you need the FC5 pro to open the attached fcf files but there are enough pictures that possibly can help you a little.

Re: IR flowchart example
Hi donald,
Since it requires V5 professional version, I will move this to the correct V5 section and post file when you can post in the V5 section.
You can find the details here:

Re: IR flowchart example
Hi donald,
Flowocde V5 section (not Flowcode V5 Free Edition ) is for anyone who has paid for Flowcode V5 student or professional.
After paying, you will receive your license key via email.
It is last two sections of that license key via email required to be entered.
Then you will be able to gain access to all of V5 sections.
