Hi
Not see n that error before so I suggest the following.

1) Have you tried downloading a fresh copy of the driver from the Matrix website

http://www.matrixmultimedia.com/lc_index.php?p=17

2) Its advisable to run as administrator when installing the drivers.

3) You may need to disable your antivirus/security software when installing, depending on what software you are using.(My Kaspersky doesn't seem to give any problems)
1 in 10 people understand binary, the other one doesn't !

Hi, thanks for the reply.
Earlier image relates to the time when driver installation is directed to the folder where the files are.

If I try to install the driver manually (amd64) version. I get the following 'install failure' window.

I tried the steps you mentioned already and then posted the problem. Nothing seems to work. I tried re-installing, uninstalling, update driver through device manager etc.

Hello,

Please try and remove the driver ensure that when you try to "uninstall" the device from the system that you tick the "Delete the driver software for this device" box.

You can ensure that this has worked by plugging your Matrix device in and it should come up as "Unknown device" rather than autodetecting it like in your first picture.

Try this then reinstall the drivers from the website.
