Version 3 Dev Board

Post by JohnCrow »

When using ports c or d on the dev board (with say a 16f877 pic), if for example I connect a eblocks led board to port c and then plug a eblocks switch board into the led board, can it be programmed in the same way as I could port b with for example with some lines as input and some lines as output. Or would I need to use one of your spliiter ribbon cables to do this.

The answer is "yes" - the switch and LED E-Blocks are designed with a "thru" port for connecting in the way you describe.

But you can also use a splitter cable instead if you want. This alternative approach may save a little space.
