Macro's

Post by goldwingers »

Hi matrix team,

whats the possibility of having some of the formula flowcode macros shipped with flowcode 3 next ver... ie.. playnote, LDR? etc.. or put up the files so we can copy them into our own macros... these would be so useful to us all.

Regards Ian.

Hello

The Formula Flowcode macros are all packaged with Flowcode as part of the Formula Flowcode Component. The Formula flowcode component has been available for some time and comes packaged with the latest updates for Flowcode. These updates are available from our download section.

If you mean sample programs for the Buggy then we are currently working on some teachers notes which will be packaged with the buggy and also include some sample programs. These sample programs and teachers notes are all available from the Learn About -> Formula Flowcode section of the website.

Macros

Post by goldwingers »

Hi Beng,
What i was asking, is it possible to have the playnote macro as a seperate utility within flowcode without having to open formula flowcode to access it within my projects ( non formula code ). This would be such an advance being able to hear a beep from the computer within the simulation.

Thanks for listening

Ian.

Hello Ian

Sorry but at the moment this simulation aspect is only designed to work with the Formula Flowcode. You should be able to include the component into your programs even if you are not using the formula flowcode buggy. The only downside of this is that you will have to change the FormFlow.c file in the components directory if you require a different I/O line assigned to the speaker from that of the buggy.
