MIac and controlling linear actuator

Does anyone have any code for controlling linear actuators for use with a Miac ?. I am struggling with even getting going on setting out the flowchart. The actuators I have should be able to hook up to the motor output ports on the Miac directly these actuators have opto pulse out for position information. I need 4 actuators that need to be driven to basically open and closed positions. They are .337mm per pulse so it should be easy to get the right distances. Any help would be appreciated as I am a real beginner doing this.
