Bugs Pic16f1933 up to Pic16f1939!

Hi MM!

After have copy and overwrite the temporary from here: viewtopic.php?f=54&t=17032 I get following message when I choose pic16f1933 up to pic16f1939:

Unable to create microcontroller pic16f19xx as the definition file pic16f19xx. FCD is missing or corrupt 0x3
Line 179 char13 <in port

Ufortunately I have not backup the old file. have overwritten in my 2 laptop (thought the update was testet and sure).

Hi Jorgen,
Just in case more targets are affected, I have attached all fcd files.
That saves you running a repair and loosing other updates.
At least then you can use the targets you mentioned.

Thank you, now I can use these target Again, it work, I am really gratefull for your help.

I hope if MM want to use the correction that I used i Next release of update, they have an extra look at theese files they doesn´t work

Hello,

Thanks for letting us know of the problem. I have tested the files from the update and they seem to be working correctly for me. I will investigate further.

Can anybody else replicate this problem?

have tested just in time the linked zip file and tested the pic16f1933.fcdx

there is no mistake in the file, if you load it to the xml notedpad, then you can load without mistake too.
so my question is, have you perhabs make a "comment" like this..

perhabs you can upload your PIC16f1933.fcdx file, then can we look into yours problem.

cant replicate this - picf1633.fcdx from the zip files look ok from format and load in FC6 without mistake.
(btw: perhabs the best timestamp for a tool like a fcdx editor? )

Hi Ben, Martin and Rudi!

I think you deserve to get an update. I have tried uninstalling and installing FC6 again from scratch. After reinstall, I have overwritten with Ben´s "temporary" updated files FCD,CAL ect. and FC is runnig with Pic16f1933 up to Pic16f1939 Again without error. What have being going wrong I don´t know, something I maybe have done during the update.

I am happy Again and look forward to get the BIG udate from MM

This has just happened to me on my home laptop, hmmm.

Maybe a bad batch of files in the not so distant past?

I wonder if it's somehow Windows doing a installation repair and failing?

Either way it's troubling.
