Eico28 - 40! SOLVED!

Post by jgu1 »

Hi!

I am making a project with an Eico 40. Unfortunately I am not able to program it. I have dowloaded and install the USBdrivers for Eico. I can't even see when I plug in an Eico in devicemanager. I have not used Eico since win7. Could it have something to do with win10??

Doesn´t work on FC5 6 and 7

I run win10
32 bit

Please

Br Jorgen

Did you install the digitally signed drivers from forums?

What kind of ECIO you are trying to use, the 8-bit PIC one, dspic etc?
Ill just keep the good work up!

hi

as ets driver mentioned have you installed the signed drivers (I had to install these to get mine to work )

You have to install the driver prior to plugging in your ecio device

Does your ecio go to bootloader mode after you press the reset and show up then on the device manager?

Hi Both!

OOPPss! My fault. Sorry for the inconvenience. Embarrassing.

The jumper on the Eico was placed in EXT and not in USB. As soon I jump it in USB, it work immediately. :D

Thank´s for help and troubleshooting.
