Hi Benj
There were used
Type: MIAC dsPIC - MI5809
And type: MIAC GPS Expansion
MIAC GPS Expansion does not work!
Cannot see Latitude Longitude in Miac dsPIC printed on display?
I might have put "Jumps" wrong?
I'm not sure that "jumps" are set right see the picture below
Do you have a suggestion on how "Jumps" should be set correctly in order to work on Miac dsPIC
Below are my Flowcode v8 codes:

Hope much you will be helpful

Re: MIAC GPS Expansion
Hi Monie,
Yes, those links are correct.
Do you get the flashing LED on the GPS module? If so, that means that the CAN communication is OK.
Does the GPS module have a clear view of the sky? It might not work too well inside a building.
The MIAC should display the Time and Date from the GPS signals quite quickly, but valid positional data can take up to 20 minutes from cold.
I've added a display of the number of satellites, you should see this slowly increasing until it has a lock and valid data.
The time to valid data will be quicker on subsequent re-boots if a backup battery is fitted,
it looks from the image that you have one fitted, does it still provide a backup voltage?
Hope that helps,
Leigh

Hi LeighM
Many thanks for responding;-)
1: Do you get the flashing LED on the GPS module? If so, that means that the CAN communication is OK. YES
2: Does the GPS module have a clear view of the sky? It might not work too well inside a building. YES
3: The MIAC should display the Time and Date from the GPS signals quite quickly. YES
4: Viewing satellites OK can see 247 satellites OK
5: There is inserted new backup battery OK
But no GPS reads Latitude and Resd Longitude in the display.....
Do you have a suggestion for codes so that the display reads Latitude and Resd Longitude

Re: MIAC GPS Expansion
Hi Monie,
Thanks for the answers
Please leave the unit on for some time, and see if it starts to count from 1
Leigh
Thanks for the answers
That 247 is actually an error code, the GPS is not seeing any satellites yet.4: Viewing satellites OK can see 247 satellites OK

Re: MIAC GPS Expansion
Hi LeighM
Looks at only 4 satellites.
This does not work well.
Have spent a lot of time getting the GPS module to work.
Now I want to use Miac dsPIC internal clock.
Do you have a suggestion so I can upload Flowcode old file to Flowcode v8
Trying to upload below web link.
But without luck! viewtopic.php?f=28&t=11637&p=43218&hili ... ock#p43218

Re: MIAC GPS Expansion
Hi everybody
Thank you very much for the proposal.
I will try to use Clock below:
viewtopic.php?f=28&t=20814
But how do I set the clock and date?
Would you like to illustrate where I am doing this?
How to set Date format as 08:02: 2019?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Have attached the code I want to use below
