Hi I am trying to upgrade our existing EB020 CPLD board setup which runs successfully with Quartus II V5 to get them running with the latest V11 software downloaded from Altera. Doing this to avoid constantly having to reapply to Altera for licences every year. I cannot get Quartus to communicate with the EB020. The EB020 drivers that were supplied with the starter kits that we bought in 2008 are installed. They run ok with Quartus 5. Checking against the latest drivers there appear to be no changes as all the file dates are the same. The boards are connecting via usb onto Novell networked laptops running Windows XP version 2002 with SP3 installed.
Has anybody else experienced this problem or can they suggest a solution?
Thanks

Hello John,
Are you using the USB version or the LPT verison of the board? It should be possible to use v11 unless Altera have dropped support for their legacy ByteBlaster cable interface.

Hi, I'm having more less the same problem. Actually I have the permanent license, but suddenly doesn't work anymore. :S I contacted already ALTERA, but until now any of the Tipps that gave me worked....
I decided than to try to use the new version of the software, however without success.
Did you solved your problem already somehow?
If yes, how did you do?
Greets and thanks...
