Re: Help for RFID??
Hi ilyaz
With the RFID board, you should only see the red or green led on one at a time
These are a few basic things you can try.
If you move the tag over the antenna you will get the leds alternating, as the tag goes in and out of the detection area.
They are not actually both on at the same time, though it may look like it because of the time it takes your eyes to see the led go out. (Persistance of vision)
Going by the e block data sheet
Red flashing = ant needs tuning
Red stable = ant tuned but no tag detected (tag could be faulty or wrong type)
Green stable = ant tuned and tag detected
I have not had to adjust the tuning on my board since i bought it
Have you tried a second tag, or a different tag i.e mifare or icode .
Have you checked the jumper settings on the board match the pic you are using - see data sheet.
Do you mean you have lost the LCD i.e you dont know where it is or do you mean it has failed.
Well without the lcd you wont have any way of giving feed back that the card has been detected.
You could use the LED eblock to give an indication or if you are using it as a card entry system for example, just activate a relay or solenoid when the card is present.
