Hi I'm a student new to flow code, I have a project to do using a PIC and PID control of a motor, at the moment I am using E-Blocks, just trying some simple programmes with an LCD and Keypad but whenever I try to compile to the chip I get the following message " unable to transfer the HEX file using: [INSTALLDIR] tools \PPP\PPPv3.exe-cs2-chip PIC 16f8877A"flowcode1.hex" check that the programmer location and options are correct"
Any help would be gratefully received

Re: new to flow code
have not tried the solution you suggested yet as that was happing in the lab on flow code version 4, I am also trying to compile the same simple programmes at home from my laptop to the E-Blocks using flow code version 5 the free version, and this time I am getting an error saying "USB not connected" I have downloaded PPPv3 to my laptop so am guessing I need to configure settings? once again any help would be gratefully received.

Hi
You can try following..
power off the programmer board and unplug usb and re-plug..You might have done that..Then you can re-install the driver for pppv3 which is available here..
