Help Please! - Flowcode V6 Variables

Hi,

I am new to Flowcode and have been given a college project to make a simple access system utilising simple system components. I have been asked to create an admin level in which you can change user codes within the running program. I have users set up in my variables all of which have a numeric value. I am lost as to how I can change these variable numeric values to another numeric value within the running program on the keypad. I believe that it must be done through the calculation function but I cannot understand how I am supposed to do it.

Any help or useful tips would be much appreciated.

There are several messages on this subject on the forum, I suggest you try looking at them and create a flow chart based on that. If you have specific questions about your flow chart, post it and ask us.

Thanks for that I have had a look at the ones I can find, nothing really helpful there. The forum is quite large so I will keep looking.

If anybody else has any info in the mean time that would be great.

Hi Lee,
Have you seen this thread
With Flowcode V6, To open a lower version flowchart i.e extionsion is .fcf
After selecting open, you need to change Flowcode Project files (*.fcfx) to Flowcode for Pic files (*.fcf)
You don't have to have the hardware mentioned, it just makes life easier.
