NRF905 Wireless with RS232

Post by JLeith »

Hello All
I have graduated to Wireless world........

I have a project that is working excellent. PIC16F1937 with RS232 communication.........VIA ( 3 PIN cable ) TX,VCC,GRD

I just purchased 2 NRF905 Wireless Receiver and Transmit communication Module. 1 For TX and 1 for RX.

I looked in Flowcode and I don't see a NFR905 to add to my project and send the RS232 out Wireless.

I also are having a difficult time with the terminal options on the NRF905 ?

The connector is a 14 pin.

I can find several conections to Adrino but I use a PIC and connections.

The wireless units are in transit and I have about 2 weeks before they arrive and with the memebers help intergrate my project with wireless communication.

John

Here is a PDF of the NRF905 that I found on the Google Serach

I know i need to run it at 3 volts from a circuit of 5 volts.

If all goes well I plan on powering the remote units with a 9 Volt battery and a step circuit for 5V for PIC and 3 Vots for Receiver.

Update

I used the wireless ( SRF ( Wireless Things ) I can see it flash as if it is sending out info.

On a additional note.

Is it possible in Flowcode 6 to simulate 2 Flowcode running and simulate the TX & RX to test the wireless.

John
