As RX interrupt does not currently simulate, my suggestion is allow the interrupt to be assigned with a Key e.g F12 or enter.
As soon as key is pressed then interrupt macro is accessed.
Is that a possibility please?

Yes That's why I would like it assigned to a key so on each key press The interrupt is accessed i.e Human interface queue goes down by one.
Assuming a R232 read component macro is added of course.
Unless you was referring to something different?
