Unknown chip type in data file

Post by Steve001 »

Afternoon All

I am trying to program a PIC16F18875 and get this error message, "Unknown chip type in data file" a quick search on the forums indicates that the device is not supported by mloader is this correct ?

This device is listed on the data sheet for V7 but not on the EB006 V9 data sheet, so does this mean to program I have to use the icsp header ?
or is there an update lurking that I can download
