Hi guys,
I have a problem with the Version 3 PICmicro(R) MCU development board.
I have installed flowcode and PPP from Flowcode v3.2.1
I installed the usb board drivers under PPPv3 >Usb Board Driver
I had some sample code made to test the hardware, but im getting an error usb not connected
Now both the usb led and the power led is on and the usb cable has been installed in my device manager
i have switched the power management options so that windows doesnt shut off the device.
Is there anything else im missing?
One strange point is that i am able to write to the chip once
If i disconnect the power and the usb cable from the board , wait 5 secs reconnect the usb cable then connect the power cable.
It will write to the chip but if i clear the chip then try to re write it will say that the usb connection cannot be found
very confusing

Re: Version 3 PICmicro(R) MCU development board
I think i maybe have partly solved my own problem
It seems to only occur when i use the PPP v3 to erase the information on the chip
Also the PPP v3 cannot autodetect the chip i dont know if that makes a difference

I had a similar problem with my pic multiprogramer, but i couldnt write to the chip at all it just gave me an error saying that a usb cable was not connected. What it ended up being is that i had two drivers trying to run the device, when i used the latest driver for the board and only that driver it worked fine.
