Hi,
I just downloaded the latest flowcode version V3 and installed it on a computer that had the old version V3.
I did a complete un-install and rebooted my computer. I then did an install and went into the fcd directory. I had attempted to create my own fcd in the old V3. These files were still in the fcd folder "after" I completed the new install.
Why didn't they get deleted?
Did all the latest fcd files get placed in the fcd folder with the latest V3 install?
The reason I ask is that some time ago I had issues with Analog on the 16F886/887 chips. Ben wrote a new fcd and sent it to me. I never got around to using it back then. I want to make sure I have the updated 16F886/887 fcd files to use.
Thanks
Ron

Re: When upgrading to new version
The uninstall routine will not "know" about any additional files you have created, and so will not delete them - you will need to delete these manually (if you need to).
The 16F886 files you had modified will probably have been replaced with the new ones, but I can't be sure. The best thing to do if you are uncertain is to use a file-compare utility to check for any differences in the files. Alternatively, look at the modified dates of the files and see if these are the same.
