ECIO and bootloader

Post by WalkOver »

Hello !

I have one ECIO40P and it works very well.
I would like to know if it's possible to have the same bootloader ( 18F4455 ) because it would be great for my application to program directly by the usb port.

Thank you so much !

Hello

The Bootloader is sold as part of the ECIO cost. You could use the Microchip example bootloader. To do this you will need the latest Microchip USB firmware, MPLAB and their bootloader example.

The FSUSB demo as part of the examples pack and the Flowcode FCD already uses the Microchip bootloader as an example so maybe this is a good starting point.
