Hello,

Have you installed the drivers for the board either using the drivers from the ELSAM CD included with your kit or the drivers available for download from here.
http://www.matrixmultimedia.com/softwar ... driver.zip

Once the drivers are installed the device should appear correctly in the windows device manager. You can find this by going to Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Device manager. Note that on Vista and Win7 the Hardware tab is not there and you can click on device manager from the system window.

The device should appear either in USB devices or in Custom USB Devices.

Once the drivers are installed ok you can open PPP and click Options -> Options to force it to try and autodetect the board. If this is ok then go to the chip configuration and try to auto detect the chip. If this works then your board is fully installed and functional.

Hello,

It could be that the driver you have is out of date and you are using the older version. If this is the case try going to the device in device manager, double click the device, go to the power management tab and try unticking the tick box that says allow Windows to power down this device.

Let me know how you get on.
