Ben, The reset you mentioned worked to a point. However what seems to be the problem is a timing issue. The pic seems to slow down when in the main loop. What happens is when the button is pressed on the 4d screen nothing happens unless you manage to get the press at the right time in the main loop ...

Thanks I will give that a try. And yes all the delays are working properly. I put them in to make sure it does, just a visual check. Will try your advice tonight and let you know.

Hi, I have tried many a combination to no avail to get the the 18F46K22 to talk to the 32ptu. Could some please have a look at my project and see if there is an issue please.

Thanks, am now trying to work on RS232. Again to no avail. Could someone please have a look at my progs and tell me what I'm doing wrong. Hardware wise the two pics are connected together via TX1 and RX1 (25 & 26), and yes Tx-Rx.

Sorry if this has been addressed before, but I can't seem to located all the output components as in the earlier version of 6. IE: the display options has dropped to 2 and are of not what I need or have had been using before.
Am I missing something?

I have this working now, sort of. I made a test file.
which works fine occasionally. Problem is it will work, then I turn it off, turn back on and nothing. Is there a code protect or something that needs to be set?

Hi
I am having trouble getting my 2x16 display to display. Am using a 16f690, is this ok? The simulation works fine , but when connected to the LCD, just line 0 comes up with all dots on.
Any ideas please

Error Code when compiling
Hi, am having trouble compiling.
First up is that I cant get past number of syntax errors while having LED array on either of the panels.
Second is When the LED array has been removed, I get an ERROR CODE 1 when compiling.
Any ideas please?

I have just upgraded from V4 to V6 Pro with PIC and AVR pack. But I cannot compile. Is there anything I need to do, I have activated it, but yet still says Its for 30 days.. why? Any info???

I am trying set up a function that when for example P1 is set to 200 within the program via a user setting function., it stays there when unit is turned of and then back on. I am using a 16F690. How can I do this please.

I have been using the PICKit2 to programm my 16F690 projects. Now I am needing to use the PIC 16F676. What can I use to programm this item? Will the evaluation board that came with the PICKit2 be sufice or will I need another?
