Show panel is on and the property say:

size 0,871

there is no a tabbet or a window with a panel........

If i build a new project, the panel is arrive.

Have jou a timeline for v4.1 !!!!!!! because to replace code between v3 and v4 is crazy but the code for macros is not exchangeable

Hello Wolfgang

Can you replicate this problem with the Panel saying a height of 0. If you could find a way of replicating this problem then we should be able to help?

Do you have examples of v3 code that does not import / exchange correctly?

v4.1 should be available over the next couple of weeks.

Hallo Benj

Can you replicate this problem with the Panel saying a height of 0----Where i can change these?

Export macro i cannot do with my project runtime error etc......

The new switch-icon ; or can i work also in a v3-project with it?

"V4.1 will be released very soon and this will add a load of extra improvements to Flowcode"for me is not the same as "couple of weeks"....

Hello Wolfgang

Here I am asking if you can replicate this problem. I have given it a go here and cannot make the panel go to a height of 0 so I am seeing if you know a way of forcing it to do this. Then knowing this it will be easier for us to solve this problem for you. If you cannot replicate the problem then it is very hard for us to know what caused the problem and even if the problem will appear again.
Export macro i cannot do with my project runtime error etc......
Have you already told us about this problem or is this new? If this is a new problem then if you post up your program that is demonstrating this problem then we will look into it for you.
The new switch-icon ; or can i work also in a v3-project with it?
The new components such as Switch and LED are v4 only. Sorry.
"V4.1 will be released very soon and this will add a load of extra improvements to Flowcode"for me is not the same as "couple of weeks"....
V4.1 will have some fantastic new features as well as the bug fixes from v4.0. These include the ability to simulate multiple targets together at once. Sorry for the delay in releasing this update but we want to be sure that everything is ready for the release. You can be assured as soon as we are ready here we will release the update.

Small note about posting. I have removed a post from you on a seperate topic as it had nothing to do with the topic. Please do not simply post onto other topics complaining. If you are unhappy and need to feel heard then create a new topic or send a private message. Alternativly relax, drink a cup of tea and thank the heavens your not forced to program in assembler.

Does your program use arrays? If it does, then this is a known problem and has been fixed in v4.1, which should be released at the end of this month.Steve Tandy,

Ok so you have already reported this problem to us and we have replied. To reiterate this will be fixed in the update when it is available.

If you can provide any more information about what you did or what you were doing when you managed to make the panel dissapear then this may prove useful.

Hallo Benj

With the v4.0 , i do nothing more.....
Now i read from medelec35 write about macros:

V4 is still very useable. I have used V4 to create several projects. If we get stuck then matrix staff helps as much as they can to get your Flowcode working to your satisfaction. Can you say that other things you have bought get the same support?

Odd about macros. I have imported/exported macros, that function has always worked great for me. The great things about importing macros is, the flowcode macros are imported to, automaticly assigns any new variables contained within the macro.

Not for me!!!!!!!!!!!

but the support is ok

(The old german think: first the work and then the cup of tea)

I can now understand what saschech@gmx.de is saying about he can do no more with V4. I am assuming his V4 changed so you can no longer cascade windows and it is impossible to follow flowcode by pressing F8. Same has happened to me (i was trying to export macro with arrays at the time, and knew from posts it will muck V4 up!). If you look at the screen shot:
After problem.jpg
(160.56 KiB) Downloaded 3208 times
you can see, the names of macros just under the graphic menu icons. (i screwed up in the screen shot, but could not re take since I have sorted V4 out) This means you can't select windows of macros. This is happening on ALL V4 fcf files. Just reinstalling did not solve problem.
The only way I get V4 to normally show cascaded windows or each macro was to
1) uninstall V4
2) run regedit, and delete FlowcodeV4 from: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\matrixmm\

Reinstall flowcode, and back to normal. YAY
Hope that helps you Wolfgang.

Does the window cascade function work on V4. Something happened to my V4, which stopped windows cascading. Hence you can see in the attachment all the maco names side by side. Also if went to the window menu and select 2 Input_string for example, input_string would not be displayed.
Maybe this is an addition problem. @Matrix staff, is this a known issue?
If not I should be able to recreate problem.

Hello Medelec

I dont think this is a known problem. Could you detail how you can replicate the problem and I will check to see if this has already been solved in the patch version.

Your image shows you using the "tabs" interface, which does not allow cascading of the windows. The "use tabs" setting is in project options. Perhaps this is the problem?

From what you have explained, it appears to me that you have closed (by clicking on the "x" in the top right corner of panel window) the "Panel" and saved the file. Now the next time you load the file, the Panel window will not show up. You can restore the Panel window from the main menu View->Panel command. I hope this will help you recover the Panel on your file.

I have not knowingly clicked on use tabs in global options.
When I did, just before sending this email, A message is displayed 'The Tabs feature is comming soon'

Besides It could have just been a one off, so its not worth holding on to next release if I can't reproduce problem.
I am still using flowcode update since would not compile without.
Do't know if that makes any difference?

Ahhh.

Steve. You are correct in what you say!

If click on use tabs then that message about tabs appears. However If click on global options, restore defaults, then use tabs automatically gets ticked, then unable to cascade.
If use tabs is clicked again, then message appears about not available, but use tabs does un-tick and back to normal.. Problem solved. Thanks Steve.
I clicked on Restore Defaults. Should it have changed the way it did, since I thought the default is to be able to cascade windows, and not the other way round?

Yes - there is a very slight bug in that when "restore defaults" is clicked, the "tabs" gets ticked (even though it is not available).

Its not really a big issue, but the bug I was referring to was when you click restore defaults, the changes made. i.e you can't have cascaded windows etc is not the default. + the clicked tabs bit.

Personally not bothered if that is sorted or not, since now I know what caused the problem in the posted screen shot is very easy changed.
