When the Flowcode application starts, you will see the following options

Flowcode keeps a list of the most recently used files and these can be selected and opened by a double click. Select the 'Open an Existing Flowcode project...' option if the file you want to open is not on the recently used list.

Clicking on 'NEW PROJECT' button will allow you to create Embedded project, Embedded Templates, or an App Developer project, to start building your program from scratch.  
You also have the option of opening a template to start a document with a pre-defined construction of a flowchart for quick and easy access to pre-prepared programs to expand upon. For further information on templates see the [[Template Selection]] article.

[[Opening an Existing Flowchart|Opening Project]] is very simple and easy to do in Flowcode, simply select the 'OPEN PROJECT' button, then select 'Browse...' to bring up the Windows File Explorer to browse and select an existing Flowcode project file to open.
You also have the option to launch the built-in Flowcode help files which consist of the base content of the Flowcode 6 wiki, there will also be links to the Flowcode 6 wiki itself. Information on [[Component]] help files see the [[Component Help Files]] article.

When the Flowcode application starts, you will see the following options

Clicking on 'NEW PROJECT' button will allow you to create Embedded project, Embedded Templates, or an App Developer project, to start building your program from scratch.

Opening Project is very simple and easy to do in Flowcode, simply select the 'OPEN PROJECT' button, then select 'Browse...' to bring up the Windows File Explorer to browse and select an existing Flowcode project file to open. There are also two other windows. One shows all the recent projects that have been opened and the other is for recent places where the recent projects have been stored.

'GETTING STARTED' brings up the same options as when A project is open and File menue is clicked.
