The Change History window displays the last changes in the undo/redo buffer, it allows the user to see a list of the last few changes that have happened in the program.
By clicking on an item in the list you can roll the project back to that point in time to undo a set of changes. As long as you don't make any additional edits you can roll forwards again as needed by clicking on the item at the bottom of the list.
You can access the Change History window by selecting 'Change History' via the 'View' menu..
