I have just tried using IOC with UART in SW mode and baud = 19200.

Have you seen the new PC developer Apps here?
For example Serial Comms Worked Example - PC Developer , and there are other examples.
PC developer is just renamed App developer.

Hi Alan. The AVR's IOC are different to PIC's. On PICs you can either select rising, falling, both edges or no edges. On AVRs the only selection you will have are both edges or no edges. Within properties, you need to select either software or channel before the pins can be allocated.
It is selected for FC9, but it's blank for FC10
