Re: DSP made easy
Hi Whenever I could squeeze in the time I've been working my way through the tutorials and decided I needed a "white noise" generator so that I can experiment with filters a bit better. Six weeks later I'm in possesion of a Chinese generator. Now I knew it was a kit but must admit to being surprised...

Re: IOT_Made_Easy - or not?
Hi
Admittedly I'm not that up to speed with this, but couldn't you use one of those generic 32's that have onboard charging? Power via USB and if "mains" fails, battery takes over?

Re: IOT_Made_Easy - or not?
Hi
The Raven has indeed disappeared but a Black Swan has taken it's place. Best not to leave that unattended.
Although both good, not as nice as Puffin (5000 years in the making, or something like that).
I have a few more bird related beers to get through...

Re: IOT_Made_Easy - or not?
Hi Work not holiday and I didn't know about the pencil museum. 2B or not 2B I guess? Fueled by Raven Red I discovered if I add in the IME component before I add in the Network Comms component, then no matter how many times I try the NC is a no show. However if I add the WLAN ESP32, then the Network ...

Re: IOT_Made_Easy - or not?
Hi I've been down South (or up North depending on viewpoint) for a few days this week in the Lake District. I've not been there since childhood and I'd forgotten how beautiful it is. Day trips, so long days and I'm just heading off there again today. No hardship with the scenery I pass through :) As...

Re: IOT_Made_Easy - or not?
Hi
Sorry, a little busy this week and I've not had time to post my TS mqtt file. If using the "free" version of TS then you are limited to how many posts you can make and also frequency too. I could only reliably post every 12 - 15 seconds or so.

Re: SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor
Hi "Me" moving around the PC to "capture" may have been in the picture so to speak when triggering / grabbing a pulse trace, but when only reading the display I'm not really near it. The sensor loops at one second intervals so I see when I or anything else is detected. If me, at 140 / 144 (140 / 4 o...

Re: SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor
Hi Yes I did expect the pulses to diverge with distance but it did not appear to affect anything at all in my test set up, as it was not always in the same position relative to surrounding, but did always have fun above 140. Just to be clear at 140cm all good, at 141cm it reads 1cm and increases acc...
