Conversion of signal outputs HTU21D Need help again please
Hello I have the sensor returning the two Bytes correctly I think but can't figure out how to put this calculation into the box. Also how to set the last 2 bits of the LSB to zero. Would I just shift the number left twice. I think I need to do some shifting to add the two bytes together, not just ha...

Re: Can an App Developer project replace using Sinric
That's great info thanks.
Just wanted pointing in the right direction.
It's half the fun figuring out how to get it working.

Re: Can an App Developer project replace using Sinric
Thanks for the info. The firmware was just a standard sketch from the Arduino IDE I think. It worked fine and Alexa finds the boards ok so you can set timers and give voice commands. But I was thinking of changing the control boards to maybe a LolinD32 and using flowcode. I don't need anything fancy...

Can an App Developer project replace using Sinric
Hello I have a house abroad and have been using esp32 relay boards with Arduino software to turn things on and off. They work fine but have to work via Sinric pro. You only get 3 free devices after that you have to pay to use more. Could an App developer project do the same thing? Would a Rasp P be ...

Re: What is make a local copy of the value used for?
Thanks very much.
I seem to remember something not quite working as I expected once, when I had that box checked but can't remember what now.
Anyway I'll leave it un-checked it's too advanced for me.
Good luck

What is make a local copy of the value used for?
Hello,
What is make a local copy of the value used for.
A value still gets passed into the marco being called and appears as a local value even if the box is not checked.
I may be going senile.
Thanks.
Mark

Re: Martin Fisher great component Max7219_v2 a question solved thanks
Hello,
It's working perfectly, scrolling across 16 segments without a hitch.
I don't know what to say, except thank you very much, I can only admire your expertise.
I think I'll use it with the BBC news component, it will work a treat.
Thanks again

Re: Martin Fisher great component Max7219_v2 a question
Yes it works fine, the only difference I can see is that version 2 running on the PIC18F4620 would scroll across 16 segments of LEDs, but if you select anything over 8 with the Lolin board nothing appears, with 8 selected and 16 connected it just shows everything twice. Everything else seems to work...
