Re: Quad encoder example issue

Hi Martin

I wasn't aware of that.

Many thanks as always, you are a real font of knowledge.

Quad encoder example issue

Hi The examples for the Quad Encoder (Test / Timer / IOC) seem to have a problem in that the encoder is not displayed in the 3D panel. It seems to be invisible. You can actually find it if you "search around" but it remains invisible. Dragging an encoder into the panel is fine, it's just the example...

Re: 2D Dashboard Text

Hi

Under Component Libraries /Creation you will find what you need such as "Label". Drag it where you need it and enter whatever you wish.

Re: Lora sx1272 component

Hi I'm a huge fan of everything RF Solutions mainly because their products work (plus good customer service). Unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to use this module (yet) but I do tend to buy things to explore capabilities in case it comes in handy in the future. This module fits, but RF are...

Re: VL53L0X comparison - update to 2000mm

Hi Stefan

Thanks for the links and also about increasing the height. Great suggestion and when I get a bit of free time I'll try that.

The multi-zone certainly has some possibilities.

Best regards

Re: VL53L0X comparison

Hi Did the experiment out to two metres. Despite documentation suggesting it could reach that far neither were of any use above ~1100mm and that is stretching it. Clearly they like big targets so detection of a human or such like is well within capability. 100_0037.JPG 100_0038.JPG 2000mm.JPG Above ...

Re: VL53L0X comparison

Hi Ben I was pushed for time as I was setting up for something else and took the opportunity to do a very basic test. I was considering using one of these to establish if there were any obstacles in my way over a given distance, and as they are compact and accurate enough for me to establish if anyt...

VL53L0X comparison - update to 2000mm

Hi This is a follow up to a previous bug report regarding the VL53L0x Time of Flight sensor. In the post I mentioned that the accuracy was a bit "suspect" which may have been due to it being a cheap module available from a well known marketplace. I decided to obtain a better module that used genuine...

Re: BL0080 Supported PICs?

Hi Medelec Thanks for that. I have to admit to being a fan of the multiprogrammers as they are very convenient and I have several kicking around (EB006 of differing versions and a v2 and v3 version of the HP-xxx boards, which might warrant a place in a museum one day :) ). I've already placed my ord...

Re: BL0080 Supported PICs?

Hi Ben

I had a feeling you might say that......

Later in the week when I'm back in front of hardware I might just give this ICSP thing a go, probably decide it's a lot of bother for little reward and then order up a BL0080 :)

Thanks for the help.
