Re: Power Supply Monitoring Circuit
Hi Viktor What do you want it to do / measure ? The circuit works by comparing 2 x 2.5 volt signals. Vref from the voltage reference and the voltage divider network. If the non-inverting (+) input is greater than the inverting (-) input the output will be high. If the inverting input (-) is greater ...

Re: Power Supply Monitoring Circuit
Afternoon All, Done a few tests with various capacitors using A PIC16C710 monitoring a DC voltage and turns on or off some transistors to drive a relay (@12V) nothing too spectacular. This current was measured at 3.9mA with a fluke meter. = 0.0195 W. so using an electronic load in constant Power mod...

Re: Print a flowchart for publication purposes
Hi Jan, For large images have you tried using Paint 3D to resize it ? Unfortunately microsoft removed it from windows 11 but you can still download it from microsoft web site. Autocad inventor outputs where 10000 x 10000 and it handled these with ease. The output can be changed to most image formats...
Re: TRS-80
Hi All Can i add to this ... never buy non brand Lithium from cheap sources. If you have never seen one go kaboom never buy non brand components from cheap sources . At work we see quite a few MOV's and PTC's from "CE" :( go kaboom on customers PCB's for those that have never seen a lion battery exp...

Re: TRS-80
wow that post office relay :) Believe it or not they are still used in the substation industry - big is good  made a few PCB's with tape and acetate sheet in my time also - yes the transfer sheets with the lines curves and pads withe the plastic spatula thing to rub them down. Again from ta...
Re: TRS-80
My Dad got me the kit form ZX81 as i was starting to get interested in electronics, i dont member how many chips it had might have been 6 definitely some 40 pins and some 14 / 16 pins loads of resistors, diode and a handful of capacitors the power supply brick was pre assembled. I do rember getting ...
Re: TRS-80
Hi Iain Cooor that brings back some memories.. never had a TRS80 but had a ZX81(kit form) and a Beeb in later years. I can remember saving up from my paper rounds and milk round and buying a Tandy 4 colour Pen Printer and interfacing it to my Beeb, and my then mates ripping the aboulte, p~%s at the ...

Hi Brendan If you go to MatrixTSL website and look in "learning" https://www.matrixtsl.com/learning/ There are some very useful courses, in there is an "Embedded Internet Communications" Course maybe this will help (about Half way Down) https://www.matrixtsl.com/resources/files/datasheets/CP4895-01%...
