Re: Imbedded Internet Course

Morning All,

I am Looking at using a couple of ECIO 40p's / 28p's & ENC28J60 breakout boards to experiment and do the examples with.
Am i likely to experience any issues / run into problems with these ?

Re: Optimal frequency to capture a 50Hz peak signal

DC has its on very real issues believe me .. even worse than AC you mentioned that your CT has a 100 Ohm resistor fitted (this is a typical value fitted by the CT manufactures to prevent again an open circuit CT. I would normally expect a lot lower value for the burden resistor. back in my DC Drive ...

Re: Optimal frequency to capture a 50Hz peak signal

Getting back to the home measurement of power, I wonder how accurate the energy companies system of measurement really is? Without getting too into it as it starts to get beyond me . Most electrical energy meters bill from kVAR's and look at THd to calculate a K factor (1.0 - liner load) HIgher K f...

Re: Optimal frequency to capture a 50Hz peak signal

Hi Wingnut sampling a 50Hz signal such as an ouput from a CT to capture the peak voltage? Just read your post, the output from a CT is not a voltage unless you have a special CT that dose this for you, or a Hall Sensor Type device The output is current that is in relation to the ratio i.e 100:1 so a...
