Re: EB006V9 PIC Programmer

Hi

I might have one without Ghost, need to check.

My board(s) are 9-pin too but Matrix sell adapters (BL0113 and BL0119) so your old board(s) can be compatible with a new programmer (and vice-versa). That may be a better option.

Re: Opening a Version 4 program in Version 9?

Hi I think you will have issues trying to do a straight conversion from v4 to v9. I think you may need to go "via" v7. Programs I have in v5 can be opened in v7 but not v9 and if I open v5 in v7 and save, I can then open the new v7 in v8/v9. I don't know what, if anything, is lost during this though...

Re: Serial receive using PIC18F4620 not working

Hi For a baud rate of 9600, that would equate to a character being sent in approx 1mS so I would assume that v5 trace would be working. I haven't got one of those chips myself to check but I would look at configs. I know it is simplistic but an led flasher as suggested elsewhere is a good sanity che...

Re: DQ542MA Stepper Driver

Hi Further to Peter's answer above, I too can confirm an output train of pulses using his code. You mentioned earlier that your motor isn't doing anything so things to check if you haven't already, and sorry if this is stating the obvious. It isn't clear your control connections. The controller has ...

Re: Binary representation in watch window

Hi

I definitely agree there are good improvements in each version, although some can take a bit of "adjusting" to <s>. I started with V3 and I've still got an old combo-board with the BT-plug connections kicking around. Museum piece perhaps? <s>

Re: Binary representation in watch window

Hi I too think it would be a nice selectable feature to change the format. Meanwhile there are many calculators out there for both on and offline conversion. My favourite is Dec Hex Bin ASCII Converter (by Colly Dog Code), available from the Google Play store. As you enter a value in any of the form...

Re: External circuit

Hi There are simulators available that will allow you to model your RC circuit and also run the hex generated in a modeled microcontroller. Indeed TINA (www.tina.com) openly advertises compatibility with Flowcode and is also available from Matrix themselves. You specify your microcontroller (AVR sup...

Re: TIM the talking clock...

Haha... or should that be aargh.... TIM the talking clock had a room mate in the exchange. Dial-a-Disk...... Forget the number now, but way before 0898 came along (Premium Rate numbers) if you dialed this you got to hear a bandwidth challenged recording of a "hit" that changed weekly. Whilst wiring ...

Re: MacroSwap - Easy macro copying between flowcharts

Hi Downloaded and tested again. Works fine now in both overwriting and creating a new file. If the Macro already existed then you would see it in the RH window, or not, so perhaps if it already exists a prompt to overwrite / rename would help prevent accidentally overwriting something unintentionall...

Re: MacroSwap - Easy macro copying between flowcharts

Hi Running FCv9 on Win8.1 Created two programs, Flowcode1 and Flowcode2. The first one had a Macro, the second did not. Downloaded your MacroSwap program and not unexpectedly Norton AV wasn't pleased and quarantined it (Covid gets everywhere <s>), most likely due to the low number of people using th...
