Hi
Sorry, a little busy this week and I've not had time to post my TS mqtt file. If using the "free" version of TS then you are limited to how many posts you can make and also frequency too. I could only reliably post every 12 - 15 seconds or so.
Regards

Re: SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor
Hi "Me" moving around the PC to "capture" may have been in the picture so to speak when triggering / grabbing a pulse trace, but when only reading the display I'm not really near it. The sensor loops at one second intervals so I see when I or anything else is detected. If me, at 140 / 144 (140 / 4 o...

Re: SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor
Hi Yes I did expect the pulses to diverge with distance but it did not appear to affect anything at all in my test set up, as it was not always in the same position relative to surrounding, but did always have fun above 140. Just to be clear at 140cm all good, at 141cm it reads 1cm and increases acc...

Re: IOT_Made_Easy - or not?
Hi
Simulating my mqtt chart updated TS however I think it is corrupted somehow as it displays variables not used in the project at all. I need to look at it in daylight before posting.

Re: IOT_Made_Easy - or not?
Hi As you might have guessed, the Talisker did an astounding job and I highly recommend it (although Highland Park may be more geographically suited :D ). Today was more theory than practical. I thought about doing stuff but the chances of that happening were practically zero.... How did you get on ...

Re: SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor
Hi Martin Sorry, only tried timer didn't check non-timer . I will try next time I'm in the evil lab. I also tried just the example file but it too does the same (just in case I'd missassigned a variable or such). Watching the analyser, the module even detects the angle being adjusted slightly. It's ...

Re: IOT_Made_Easy - or not?
Hi
Not even after multiple. I knew about second clicking and to add "target" prior, but can't get it to work. I can get for example mqtt to link though so it seems limited to IME (or maybe .39 as I'm not near a .38 to check)

Re: IOT_Made_Easy - or not?
Hi
Might be the Shiraz, but I can't find anything the IME can "Link To". Tried WLAN and Network Comm variants but no show.

Re: IOT_Made_Easy - or not?
Hi I'm pretty sure I used mqtt to update TS too, so I'll have a look. It might be an idea once you have api keys working to subscribe to PushingBox. When an alarm is generated it sends a signal to PB, which then sends you an email or Push message or whatever. The tests I did indicated the SR04 Ultra...
