Hello,
I was playing around with the BBC News component again and having no luck with it in FC9.
I even downloaded a file from the forum that I know worked before and after updating the ip address still no luck.
I tried loading component version 2 intead of 3 but that did not help.
The weather component works fine still.
If the attached worked ok before, I wonder what has changed any idea's much appreciated.
The URL feeds.bbci.co.uk used to work or putting the ip address into the componet settings worked fine.
feeds.bbci.co.uk pings now as 23.213.16.139

Thanks for any help
Mark

Re: FC9 and BBC news component
Hello
I downloaded the component and notice the request data is searching the web site for the string "<item>" in the news items headings
but the item headings look like <div id="item">
Could that be the reason why no news items found is returned.
I was going to change the search term and re-save the component but FC10 won't let me save it without the pro licence.
Maybe the web site design as changed slightly. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
I't worked great in the past.
Thanks Mark

Re: FC9 and BBC news component
Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Mark. I have asked a colleague to look into this.
