Colour scheme

Post by steve001 »

Afternoon

is is possible to change the color scheme - i find purple and black for the tool bar very difficult to read.
I have found something in global settings but this just changed the flowchart not the tool bar.

Hi Steve,

Click on your name - top right - used control - board preferences - my board style. You can choose 'element ' or prosilver.
Prosilver is a light scheme like the old board..

Hi Martin

20 clicks on the thumbs up ... been struggling with that for days and ended up with headaches and eye strain :(
whilst trying to alter the color scheme and find something that i could read.

i only have dark and light though - light is much better

Hello
Is it possible to change the purple colour scheme for text/icons, I have great difficulty seeing it, I have tried light dark style but that mostly changes the background, in dark at least the text is white so visible but the icons remain impossible for me to see.

Hi

Certainly possible. I too sometime struggle when others post in "colourful" fonts :)

File > Global Options > Schema will allow you to change icons etc.

Hope this helps

Hi Michael,

If you mean the icons on the toolbars and ribbon, then unfortunately these are fixed. Are there any specific ones you are having problems with?

On my monitor (and with my eyesight) the icons - especially in light mode - have a high contrast and seem very clear, large and readable. But we are keen to find out how they can be improved.

Also, there are utilities that can adjust contrast and other colour settings and some of these work per-app. I have not tried it, but something like vibrancegui might help.
