Hi,
I had the same issue where the program simulated OK but when downloaded would not work at all. Last time it was on an ESP32, this time on a Raspberry Pi and I would assume any device that uses network components.
The issue is with no connection between the network comms and TCP_IP it appears to work correctly in a sim.
I would like to see a warning message before you download that there is no connection as this takes a lot of time to diagnose. You might actually not care about it although i cannot see why so perhaps the warning could ask if you want to continue with the download.
