I've an issue with the attached macro taking 1min and 7 secs to save the data to a micro sd card (an amazon module). I know there are a lot ofseparate append to files but the idea is to 'format' the data so the file can be saved as a csv file. Problem is it takes ages to save the data and the result is the lcd appears to freexe while this is being written. The micro sd card module is of course a cheap one from amazon which has a vhc125 buffer. Is the module the issue or is it all the append's?

Update for other noobs like me. Changed high speed prescaler to FOSC/4 -thought i'd already done that - thanks again Stefan
also changed to channel 1 from software and that didn't work - changed to channel 2 and the write time is about 1 second - woohoo!
Also tried various size and makes of cards and some of those that didn't work before the changes, worked after. Oddly the 2 sandisk cards i tried didn't work either way
