Hi, I am new to both ESP and tool chains, and need a couple of questions answered please.
1, I have a full version of V9, does that already contain the tool chains, or do I have to download them based on whatever hardware I choose?
2, Do I tick "use auxiliary code" to put the tool chain into flowcode?
3, I want to use ESP device in conjunction with controlling a radio set, do I need to install and OS into the ESP first?
4, What is the programming connection method between my pc and the ESP?
Sorry for all the questions but my hardware has not yet arrived, so only looking at images at the moment

Re: Radio and ESP
Hi
You need to download your required toolchains and they can all be found here.
https://www.flowcode.co.uk/download/
A handy guide to instal the ESP is also available here
https://flowcode.co.uk/faq/?a=06
Once installed, under Targets you will see a list of compatible ESP32 devices. Simply select the correct/compatible target and off you go. Connection is by USB, PC to ESP. Note that once connected to your PC you will need to go to Build > Project Options and select the correct Comm Port the ESP is connected to (easy to forget
) before you download your code to the ESP.
The WiKi and forum are great sources of help and a lot of your initial questions will most likely be already answered. If not a post usually gets a quick reply.
