About Matrix TSL and Flowcode

Matrix Multimedia Limited was started in 1993 with the aim of becoming an educational electronic publisher. Between 1993 and 2000 the company developed around 27 CD ROMs in the fields of Electronics, Geography, Mathematics and Medicine.

The advent of the internet reduced the sales of CD ROMs and the company diversified into designing and marketing resources for teaching microcontroller programming. This was a great success and Matrix went on to develop and market technical educational equipment in electrical, mechanical and manufacturing engineering.

The company changed its name to Matrix Technology Solutions Limited and its website is at www.matrixtsl.com Matrix now employs 40 people in Halifax, West Yorkshire, England.

Flowcode was first released in the year 2000 to allow those with little programming experience to learn how to develop complex electronic systems. Over the last 25 years Flowcode, has been through a number of iterations and is now used by a growing number of professional engineers as well as educators.

Matrix TSL uses Flowcode in all of its electronic system developments: we are our own customer.

Learning and teaching remains at the core of our mission for Flowcode - and the associated E-Blocks range. There is no conflict here with our industrial market: engineers are always learning, and making electronic product development easy benefits all of our users.
