I think there is a bug in the UART component when using Arduino Uno. As soon I add the Uart component I get an error when I try to compile. And it is not possible connect the RX pin in properties.

Yes there is a problem
But if you switch from channel1 to software and back it's there.
and i guess every time you reopen the programme you have to do it again. try if you can get it to run like this as test
