I genuinely look forward to new FC releases, for about the last ten years I've paid for the commercial use versions. I think I probably cover that cost these days, with one or two commercial projects a year. I have no issue paying extra to support FC development. (Just look at Matlab costs. haha).
For me the FC team and other users, on the support pages is a highly valuable team. Do commercial customers get a improved response time to questions or even could we buy 'support' to get a timely assessment of our issue. Tricky know but with every release of FC the commercial licence is always a cost that needs to be justified by the purchaser. As ever, looking to make things better, not just having a moan. j.
We have a policy of prioritising support for users who have purchased the professional pack with Flowcode. We have tried in the past to offer paid bespoke support for users' projects, but this was not cost effective (for us or for our customers).
That said, we do not ignore supporting users who have not purchased the professional pack.
And we always encourage our users to support each other. Many of our users have specialist knowledge and experience which can put them in a better position to help with certain topics. More generally, a quick response from a fellow user may get a new user over a relatively simple hurdle, and this is more beneficial than waiting for Matrix staff to respond.
The professional pack is also essential for users who use Flowcode commercially, and it unlocks other features within Flowcode. So the professional pack offers more than just priority support.
