Happy Christmas

Post by WingNut »

I would just like to wish everyone a happy time over the next few days. Put the worlds nonsense behind you, focus on our electronic projects and enjoy life however it works for you.
But there are a few people who need special mention.
From Matrix:
Ben Rowland- despite trying to sell his wifes shoes last year (or so we are told ;))
Martin - Medelec
Steve-matrix

More particularly the 2 main community members who give up so much of their own personal time to help those of us who are noobs.
Chipfryer and Mnfisher. Ian and Martin

Without your input a lot of us just look like kids bouncing balls
I personally thank all of you and hope that the development of this fantastic product continues

Happy and merry Christmas to all

Thanks for the kind words.. Blushing more than slightly - and I guess that Flowcode makes programming fun - so many thanks to the Matrix team. We try (speaking for Iain as well) - and help a little when we can and (speaking for myself) - try hard not to mess things up for folk too much. Everyone has to start somewhere - and the best way to get better is practice (and then practice, practice and practice some more) - so play with the features, try different ways of doing things etc

So I'd like to recommend everyone has a new year resolution of doing some projects just for fun - after having an excellent Christmas of course,

Oh - and to forget connection point and goto exist :-)

Really appreciate your comments and hope you all have a great holiday. We certainly couldn't do what we do without you guys, you make it all worthwhile.

Sometimes you've just got to admit to yourself when they just don't look good on :lol:

That's the engineering approach.

Code: Select all

 Macro Pub()
     While(.StillThirsty)
          .StillThirsty = DrinkMore()

Getting home handles itself 🥳

Happy Christmas Everyone 🎅

Thanks very much, WingNut. Such a nice message. The world does seem a crazy place at the moment.

I'd like to echo what you have said about Iain and Martin - we would not have this forum without their selfless support. The same goes for Martin (medelec35) and our other VCs, and all those other users of this forum who make this such a nice corner of the internet to inhabit.

Happy holidays everyone and all the best for 2026.

I fully stand behind WingNut’s message.

It’s really thanks to the contributions of a few dedicated people that this forum truly works.
Their selfless input keeps both big and small questions answered, and I keep telling myself I’ll contribute more… but every time I haven’t used FC for a couple of months, my knowledge buffer seems to slowly drain again. Priorities in hobbies, right? 🙂

I hope FC11 will be a huge success, and that the Matrix team can keep pushing forward all the way to version 35!

For 2026, I wish everyone peace, plenty of inspiration, and excellent health.
