Copy and past Error, no Garbage collection
After more then ten times Copy and past in the code, there comes a out of memory error. This software is poor in his code and without the modern

Re: Copy and past Error, no Garbage collection
Thanks for reporting. Can you please provide more information because I cannot replicate the problem you are seeing.
For example, what specific version of Flowcode does this affect? And could you provide a project that shows this behaviour - just in case it is something specific that is being copied which causes the problem you describe.

Re: Copy and past Error, no Garbage collection
Something has changed with paste - I used to be able to use Windows-Paste and get a history to select the item to use?
Couldn't get a crash though - even copying/pasting large chunks of code... Did get a bit of 'slow down' with really large blocks..

Re: Copy and past Error, no Garbage collection
The issue lies in the programming of the graphical part. When multiple icons are copied and pasted repeatedly, an "out of memory" error occurs. This is clearly a sign of poor software programming. Your application's memory management seems to be stuck in the Windows 95 era. We had memory problems back then too, but in 2026 with 64 GB of RAM and 1 terabyte of M.2 storage, this is simply pathetic. It appears that your software is mostly preoccupied with itself, and only the simplest "LED on/off" commands run without errors. My project uses a PIC32MZ144, a 3.5" TFT display, an ADC, F-RAM, a Hall effect sensor, and an I2C motor driver, and it no longer seems to function correctly. Even the simulation is painfully slow, and the program frequently crashes during simulated key presses. Make it open source; perhaps others can develop a better program from it.
Re: Copy and past Error, no Garbage collection
Post your flowcode project and what version you are using, what version of windows etc and someone will try to help you by trying it on their system. Instead of complaining that is

Re: Copy and past Error, no Garbage collection
I've tried and cannot replicate this. Is this occurring with every project you are using, or is it just a particular project?
Please post your project and gives steps to replicate the issue, as this will help us find and fix the issue.
