GLCD_STM32F469NI1 display artifacts

I'm using an STM32F469 Discovery kit with flowcode v9. After initializing and clearing the display, if I draw to the LCD, I see the graphics with a lot of noise in the foreground and background -- looks like bands of snow. Anyone else using this ST Discovery kit?

Can you send us a photo of the display showing the problem and your project file so we can investigate for you.

Attached is the file and an image. This is simply a red circle with a light gray background. Note that we can produce proper images when using the STM32 tools, such as TouchGFX, so it is likely not a fault with the hardware.
