Hi
Which flowcode folders/files do I need to copy so I have backup of its configurations and settings ?
In other words, which flowcode folders/files contain its configurations and settings ?
I'm asking this, just in case, if I need to reinstall, I don't need to be worried about making all the changes again, that feet my needs.
Its just all about (re)install and replace those files.
Thanks in advance,
Miguel

The following registry location contains Flowcode v9 settings:
Code: Select all
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MatrixTSL\FlowcodeV9

HI and thanks for your answer.
So... In case of flowcode (re)installation, if I want all my options and preferences like before, after reinstalling, it's all a mater of
delete this registry key and put there the one I backup.
I'm I right ?
Miguel

Re: Backup settings and configurations, just in case...
The installation of Flowcode does not change this registry setting, so reinstallation of Flowcode on the same PC should retain your existing settings. So if you are reinstalling to the same PC then I suggest you reinstall Flowcode and then re-activate your licence. There should be no need to copy your settings.
The only potential issues arise with licensing and hardware changes (e.g. some of the settings here relate to window positions). But reinstalling on the same PC with no licensing or monitor changes should be fine.
