Is it possible to do the side Command Icons bar like in FC8?
In the FC9 the Command Icons in the Project Explorer or in the upper band not very comfortable on the small screens like my HP 15" laptop. There is no problem on the big screens.

Re: Command Icons bar.
Sorry, but that's not possible as we have removed that command icons bar in v9. Finding the right balance between better supporting large 42"+ multiple-monitor setups and smaller single-screen laptops is a challenge.
You can make the Project Explorer pane narrower, or you could undock it and have it floating to the right of the flowchart window.
State diagram icons can be added via a right-click context menu and I was considering extending this to flowchart icons too. Would thank be acceptable? It's a lot easier to do this than recreating the icon toolbar.

Hello Steve.
Thanks!
For me is very applicable the Quick Access toolbar.
On my point of view there is missing the ability to switch the bar in the vertical position and stick it to right or left side.
Also there is a problem with Command Icons display. The Icons looks like a circle.
Is it possible to add the feature to do the quick access bar in vertical position and normal view the Command Icons on this bar?
Thanks!

Re: Command Icons bar.
That issue with the Command Icons on the Quick Access Toolbar has been raised previously. See here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=92
Unfortunately, it cannot be positioned vertically.
What did you think of my idea for using the right-click context menu? And how about the floating Project Explorer window?

Hello Steve,
Ok.
The floating Project Explorer window... maybe yes.... it is interesting.
Is it possible to add feature to switch off the icon captions?
Do I understand correctly that it can be possible right-click on the flowchart and select the icon in the drop-down menu and add to the flowchart?
It is very interesting!

Re: Command Icons bar.
Yes - maybe if the project explorer is narrow we can hide the command icon names.
Here's what you get when right-clicking in state diagram macros: I was considering doing the same with flowcharts by adding an "add ->" entry with a submenu of flowchart icons to add that icon to a flowchart when right-clicking.

Hi Nasim,
Not sure what you mean by components display. The components are now available via a tab on the Flowcode ribbon.
This wiki page might help you.
